Terms & Conditions — The Sealcoating guys

1.  Acceptance of Terms

By requesting an estimate, scheduling work, or otherwise engaging our sealcoating services, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our services.

2.  Scope of Work

All work will be performed as described in the written estimate we provide. Any changes (extra crack filling, striping, additional square footage, etc.) must be approved in writing and may result in additional charges.

3.  Scheduling & Weather Delays

Sealcoating is weather-dependent. We may reschedule your project at our discretion if rain, excessive heat, cold, or other conditions would prevent proper application or curing. We will contact you as soon as possible to set a new date.

4.  Customer Responsibilities

  • Surface readiness: Driveways and lots must be clear of vehicles, debris, and obstacles before we arrive.
  • Water access: If needed, you agree to provide exterior water access.
  • Post-service care: Please keep all foot and vehicle traffic off the sealed surface for at least 24 hours (or the timeframe we specify on site).

5.  Materials & Colors

Sealer color and final appearance may vary slightly due to surface age, previous coatings, and weather conditions. Hairline cracks, surface texture, and existing stains may show through a fresh coat. We cannot guarantee a uniform jet-black finish on every surface.

6.  Warranty

We warrant our workmanship for 12 months from the date of application against peeling or flaking caused by improper installation. This warranty does not cover damage from snowplows, tire chains, de-icing chemicals, oil spills, standing water, or ground movement.

7.  Payments

  • Deposit (if any): Due upon scheduling.
  • Balance: Due in full upon job completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Late payments: Past-due balances may incur a late fee of 1.5% per month (18% APR) or the maximum rate allowed by law.

8.  Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim arising out of the work shall not exceed the amount you paid for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost use of your property.

9.  Insurance

We carry general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. Proof of coverage is available upon request.

10.  Cancellation

You may cancel or postpone your project at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time with no penalty. Cancellations inside 48 hours may be subject to a rescheduling fee to cover crew and material costs.
